We begin by understanding your values. How do you want your guests to feel when they enter your venue? Who are the stakeholders in your event, and what are their desires?
From there, we’ll curate foundational vendor recommendations, arrange venue tours, and architect a budget suited to your preferences.

Next, you’ll receive an extensive design proposal that illustrates our vision for your wedding. We’ll use color palettes, mockups, floorplans, and hand-sketched renderings to illustrate the look and feel of your event.
Once approved, we’ll source the best creative vendors to bring your aesthetic to life.

In this crucial stage, we’ll begin coordinating the logistics to transform your “before” vision into an “after” reality.
Production planning for your wedding includes working with your foundational and design vendors to orchestrate all of the technical details, from timelines and floorplans, to audio-visual needs, and more.

We are headquartered in Dallas, Texas, but love planning domestic destination weddings in places like Colorado (much of our team, including Laura herself, are natives!) and Montana. We’re also fully licensed as a Mexico wedding planner and love planning weddings in Cabo and other Mexican destinations.
Unfortunately, no. Mayfield Events exclusively offers full-service wedding planning.
In order to provide the level of service we’re renowned for, we only work with a select few couples each year. We can produce weddings in as little as 2 months to up to 20 months.
Although our planning service is billed at a flat rate, our design service is billed based on your design budget, so our fees vary with each wedding. In general, our couples spend $750 or more per wedding guest. It would be our pleasure to prepare a custom quote based on the wedding you’re envisioning; please contact us to get started.
Absolutely! We’d be honored to have your parents or other important stakeholders involved in our planning process, so long as everyone acknowledges that our couples’ wishes are our first priority.
